On 1 May 2010 Genesi presented a day long training event hosted by the Future Electronics for their worldwide staff of field application engineers (FAE). The training was conducted at Future's corporate offices in Pointe-Claire, Québec. The instruction focused on Linux development and the features and use of the Aura firmware and abstraction layer. Participants used the Efika MX Smarttop. The Efika MX Smartbook was also demonstrated. Future Electronics FAE's will be using both products to support the distribution process. Future Electronics is a Genesi distributor.
